In mid-November the Mayan pyramid in the Jungfrau Park first opened its doors to revelers. This weekend Gameboy honours the hall where Erich von Däniken recited his lectures.
The newly launched club is going to close an existing gap in the market. Until now there was no locality in the Interlaken region that could offer something special to the fans of electronic dance music. This is now over. With relatively low investment an ideal setting for such events was created in the 840 square meters of the club. Much of the decoration remains as before, an additional two bars were installed. Up to 650 visitors can find room per night in the middle of the dance floor and in the gallery. The musical program is outlined wide with Deep Tech House / Minimal / Techno / Electro-House / Nu-Disco / Breakbeat / Drum & Bass / Dubstep ....
For now the club is opened Fridays and Saturdays from 21:30 to 03:30. There is the possibility to use the Moonliner shuttles to get to Interlaken West station (both 1:45 and 04.00 clock). For visitors arriving by car there are enough parking spaces available. The conditions seem ideal for a thriving nightclub.
Gameboy will honour the Mayan Club on 07.12. 2012. He will rock the stage at "Progressive Invaders" from 1:30 to 3:15. Even if he is playing like a little god please do not sacrifice the virgins in the Mayan pyramid of the park.
